"What we fail to see is that nature is both: threat and solution. We, as the human species, as human society, are both users and an integral part of nature. The #ClimateCrisis is testimony to the fact that we can now manipulate nature at the grand scale of our planetary systems."

Very interesting session at #COP28 on #Biodiversity #Credits. "How can we create nature positive outcomes which are equitable and sustainable?" Some good examples which could be implemented in land and ecological management practices in Ireland.

In our latest podcast some of Ireland's environmental journalists talk about climate stories they would like to cover e.g., exposing the fossil fuel industry, Ireland's food security issues, the plight of countries hardest hit by climate breakdown. Listen

A powerful message delivered at #COP28 today, during a 1hr panel discussion hosted at the @ASU pavilion. The Future Earth 2023 "Ten new insights in climate science" report was launched. Number 2 is particularly topical! https://10insightsclimate.science/
